Okay, so it's not a Temple print, but when Todd and I were busy photographing the Mesa Arizona Temple last summer, the cacti were blooming. This is a photograph I made of one of the cactus flowers that you see in the desert garden images (the cactus on the garden's far right in those images).
Back in the film days, black and white was my favorite! I loved selecting special black and white film, based on what I was shooting and how I wanted it to look in the end...the grain, the contrast, the drama created by careful planning (or happy accidents!). Then, working in the darkroom, testing different development times, different papers. Those were the days! Fortunately, in Photoshop, I can create the same effects today that I did back then (and without all the stinky chemicals!).
